Miss Goldy Goes To Sylvanvale

Miss Goldy Goes To Sylvanvale

I was over the moon when Sylvanvale asked Miss Goldy to attend their 70th anniversary celebrations in June at local gallery, Hazelhurst.

It was a fabulous night and I had lots of fun spinning the 'chocolate' wheel and mingling as Miss Goldy Sparkles throughout the night.

The event raised $62,000 to renovate 'Garden House, a recreational facility where activities are held for people of all abilities. The funds will help install access ramps, improve drainage, renovate the kitchen area and create an accessible toilet.

Sylvanvale was formed in 1947 when a group of parents united to form an organisation that would give their children with a disability a better quality of life through access to education and social inclusion. Today they support over 750 children and adults.
